Plagiarism Policy SFE Conferences

The SFE Conference upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. To maintain the integrity and credibility of the scholarly community, we have implemented a strict Plagiarism Policy to ensure that authors properly acknowledge the work of others and that all submitted papers are original.

Policy Details:

Plagiarism Screening:
All research papers submitted for publication will undergo screening using plagiarism detection software to assess originality and identify any similarity with existing sources. This process ensures that all work submitted for publication is original and properly referenced.

Return of Papers Not Meeting Originality Criteria:
Papers that fail to meet the originality criteria will be returned to the authors for revision. Authors are required to address any issues identified by the plagiarism check and resubmit the paper.

Post-Publication Plagiarism:

If plagiarism or false identity is suspected or discovered after a paper has been published, the paper will be temporarily removed from the website until verification is complete.

In cases where only a few paragraphs are plagiarized, the author will be given a chance to modify the published paper. Once the revision is approved by the editor, the paper will be reinstated on the website.

Serious Plagiarism Consequences:

If major plagiarism or a copyright violation is confirmed post-publication, the paper will be permanently removed, and the author will be penalized.

The author will be banned from participating in future SFE events and affiliated conferences for life.

Such actions will be publicly noted, and indexing agencies will be informed.

Self-Plagiarism:
Self-plagiarism (republishing one's own previously published work without proper acknowledgment) is strictly prohibited and will be treated in the same manner as other forms of plagiarism.

Declaration of Academic Integrity:

All authors must submit a declaration of originality and academic integrity as part of the submission process.

Authors must ensure that all citations and references are complete and accurate, properly crediting the work of others.

Ethical Responsibility:

SFE reserves the right to cancel registrations and withdraw publications if participants are found to be in violation of the conference's rules or ethical guidelines.

SFE holds the right to publish, withdraw, or modify any paper in the conference proceedings or affiliated journals at any time, in case of violation of the plagiarism policy or any other ethical concern.
